Associate Pastor Michael Pence

Michael and Samantha Pence

Michael serves as the Associate Pastor of Covenant UMC, where he is the pastor of the multi-media, contemporary worship experience, Crosswalk.

He has previously been an associate pastor at Colonial Park UMC in Memphis, and Lovers Lane UMC, in Dallas, Texas . He graduated from the Perkins School of Theology, at Southern Methodist University, in June 2002.

Michael’s passions in ministry center on reaching people who are not yet in a relationship with Jesus Christ. He is experienced in creating and starting contemporary worship services, designed to meet the needs of pre-Christian people.

Michael and his wife, Samantha, are the proud parents of Emma Grace and Mary Campbell. Samantha teaches language arts at New Hope Christian Academy, in Frayser.
