Don is married to Lorraine and has 3 grown sons, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild! Don has a PhD in Entomology, and was an Instructor in Entomology at The University of Nebraska for 9 years. He has 50 years experience in food plant and food warehouse sanitation and quality assurance, and he was a consultant to the Agency for International Development, and the State Department on warehousing of food materials in international settings.
He is a World War II and Korean War veteran, served in the Medical Services Corps, and was an Instructor at Fort Sam Houston Medical Service School. He was the financial secretary at Covenant for 5 years. He has been the Building Engineer at Covenant for 9 years and a member of Covenant for 25 years. He is responsible for buildings and grounds, cleaning and maintenance. He also takes part in events and scheduling by taking responsibility for event setup and monitoring. He takes care of ordering all of the supplies for the buildings, oversees contractor activities, procures or builds items necessary for Church activities, and assists in financial system activities as needed.
