Young At Heart

Our group of mature men and women who call themselves the "Young at Heart" are meeting the 4th Thursday of each month for a planned activity which spans from a potluck luncheon and games at the church to many different outings off campus. Below is a list of upcoming events for the Young at Heart for the winter season:

Thursday, February 23, 2012 - We will meet at the church at 11:15am to carpool to the Bahama Breeze Restaurant.  Hopefully, this will take you away from the winter cold and make you think you are on a sunny island.  The food is great and the fellowship will war your heart.

Wednesday & Thursday, March 14 & 15, 2012 -  Each day we will carpool from church at 10:15 to go to Calvary Episcopal Church for lunch and to hear author and teacher, Marcus Borg.  This Lenten Luncheon and Speaker at the beautiful Church is always a highlight.  Come join us for both days or just one day.  There will be different discussions each day.

Friday, April 13, 2012 - We will meet at O'Charley's Restaurant on Germantown Parkway and Macon for lunch at 11:30am.  Then we will carpool to Bartlett Performing Arts Center for the performance of "WILL ROGERS NOW".  Hilarity, history, some rope tricks, radio monologues and song will be presented by actor Lance Brown.  The family of Will Rogers has approved this presentation.  The price is $20 and we will need to get reservations in by March 23.  Call Elizabeth Dike at 754-7956 or the church office at 754-8587 to make reservations.

We look forward to seeing all of the YOUNG AT HEARTS at the meetings and hope you will enjoy each of these. If you have any questions please call Elizabeth Dike at 754-7955 of cell 827-2750.
