Recreation Information

Covenant is blessed to have a beautiful facility, Smith Covenant Center that houses many of our recreational ministries. We're also grateful to have very rare Cordova "green space" which plays host to soccer, t-ball, children's and youth activities as well as church wide events.

Covenant offers soccer, basketball, and baseball/softball league teams for our children and youth. Registration forms are available online, and at the church desk in the Smith Covenant Center and Narthex of the church prior to each sports season.

Our facility is not just for kids. We offer a wide variety of fitness activities such as Senior Aerobics, Yoga/Pilates, Strength/Fitness, Pickle ball, and Karate classes. We have a wonderful walking track which overlooks our gym, it is open from 9am-9pm, Mon-Thurs and Fridays and weekends as activities are scheduled. 

Mission/Philosophy

All programs are Christ-centered with a strong emphasis on honoring and glorifying God. Our coaches focus on sportsmanship and teamwork while teaching the fundamentals of each sport. An emphasis of enjoyment, teamwork, commitment, self-discipline, and development of talents are at the forefront of our programs. 

League Sports

Covenant is very proud of all our teams and volunteer coaches. Our coaches are dedicated men and women who enjoy athletics and love working with children, youth, and adults. Our teams are held to the highest standard when it comes to showing good sportsmanship and fair play.

Covenant offers soccer, and basketball, as well as other recreational opportunities thru our youth and children's programs. Registration forms will be available at the front of the Smith Covenant Center or online prior to each sport's season. Be sure to register early. Fitness

Our facility is not just about sports! Our facility is a way in which we can reach out to our community. We try to accomplish this through various programs, fitness classes, exercise programs, events and church programs.

Currently we offer:

  • Core Strength & Support Fitness Classes
  • Yoga
  • Walking Track
  • Karate Classes
  • Senior Aerobics – M/Th 10:00 – 10:45 am
  • Pickle Ball – T/Th 4:00 – 5:30pm
