The Senior Adults at Covenant UMC are a diverse group of people, age 55 and older, who enjoy spending time together and connecting through our Senior Ministry activities. We welcome your participation. Come and enjoy Christian fellowship as we gather together!

Through our day and overnight trips, Young-At-Heart outings, Trivia and Bingo nights, and exercise opportunities we grow together in our faith journey. Our doors for all activities are open to both church members and non-members alike and we welcome visitors any time.

Opportunities include regional trips to Branson and Opryland as well as day trips to see the eagles at Reelfoot. Our Young-At-Heart group meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month for different activities and outings throughout the year. Often we have informational presentations as well as outings to local landmarks and artistic offerings around town. From plays, to lunch outings, to the Memphis Fire Museum, we enjoy each other’s company and gain some knowledge on topics that relate to seniors.

Exercise opportunities abound at Covenant! Join us on Monday and Thursday mornings at 10am for aerobics and stretching classes designed for seniors, and on Tuesday and Wednesday you can try your hand at Pickleball!  Our walking track is available for everyone to enjoy especially during the cold winter and hot summer days in Memphis.

Our weekly ‘Zoom’ activities include Tuesday Trivia at 5pm and Bingo on Thursday evenings at 5pm. We have an active group of game players that include Mexican Train, and Mahjong, and a book club that meets quarterly. Also available is our Covenant Quilters and Crochet groups which meet at the church several times per year.
