Blessing Bag Ministry Non-perishable food and hygiene products are packed monthly for sharing with unhoused individuals. Monetary donations and donated supplies for this ministry are collected throughout the year. Donation baskets are located in the narthex and in the Smith Covenant Center. Crochet Ministry
We crochet hats, scarves, and lap blankets for charitable organizations and baby afghans for newborns at Covenant. All knitters are welcome. Stitches of Hope Meets at the church on the 1st and 3rd Saturday. Don't know how to sew? Come and learn for a great cause! Gleaning/Resource Redistribution Ministry Our team picks up hundreds of pounds of weekly food donations from Trader Joe’s in Germantown and deliver it to various food pantries in the city. Project Transformation Summer Reading Program Project Transformation is a summer literacy and enrichment camp for children in grades 1-8 that is organized and led by college-age young adult interns. Room In The Inn Covenant is a host site for Room In the Inn (RITI), an organization that provides shelter for those experiencing homelessness during the colder months, November through March. Monthly, we host 12 to 15 homeless neighbors from RITI and provide them with holy hospitality which includes a hot meal, companionship, showers, and a warm place to stay. Whitney Elementary School - Tutoring & Support Whitney Elementary is a school in the Frayser community and a part of the Achievement School District. We provide school supplies and tutors for students in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. Tutoring can start as early as 7:30am. Contact Carol Avens at [email protected] (901) 751-8192. |

Mountain T.O.P. Mountain T.O.P. is dedicated to rural life ministry in the Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee. They strive to meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs through the love of Christ. United Methodist Committee On Relief (UMCOR) UMCOR is the disaster relief arm of the United Methodist Church which serves through out the world providing humanitarian aid in times of crisis. From flood buckets to hygiene kits, we provide support to our boots on the ground. Also, every fall, our United Women in Faith (women's ministry) takes a service to trip to Sager Brown, which is the staging area for all disaster relief supplies for UMCOR. El Ayudante - Nicaragua Translating to “The Helper,” The mission of EA is that of a Christian humanitarian organization based in León, Nicaragua, dedicated to partnering with the Nicaraguan people to transform the nation — One child, One family, One community at a time. Real Hope For Haiti Covenant has been actively serving the people of Haiti since 2010. The church provides support and supplies through our in country mission partner, Real Hope For Haiti.
