Nursery (6 weeks to PreK)

We offer nursery for children 6 weeks to PreK. Nursery will be available during both worship services as well as Sunday School hour. The nursery is located in the main building (the Sanctuary Building), room 119.

Children (K-5th Grade)

Children's Church

We offer Children's Church for both worship service times. Children's Church is a place where kids ages K-5th grade play games and do crafts & activities related to the weekly Bible lesson.
Children & parents begin in worship together. The children will dismiss after opening worship music and walk together to the children's building called "The Promise Land" which is the white building located behind the Smith Covenant Center.

Sunday School (10:00am)

Sunday School is also in "The Promise Land" and is a mixed age group of K-5th grade, where we dive deeper into Bible lessons and more activities to reinforce our story of the day. We teach with the purpose of learning spiritual habits of praying, reading God's word, sharing our story and encouraging life-long Christ centered community.

RISE (Sundays 5:00-7:00pm)

During the school year, we have our awesome Sunday night drop-off program called RISE (raising up a new generation of believers). Kids K-5th grade meet at 5:00 pm for dinner. After dinner from 5:30-7:00 pm we have tons of crazy games, music, dancing, art projects and more!

Kids just bring out a lot of joy for us, don't they?! It is especially touching when these precious little ones, who have been working hard for weeks, bring a beautiful message through presentations such as this one. You will not want to miss this! Join us on Sunday, December 8 @ 5 pm in the Sanctuary for our Covenant Kids' presentation of their Christmas musical! Stay & enjoy refreshments & crafts following the pageant.

Here is a little background for the musical that you are coming to see!
The staff of a 1970s-era radio station (think WKRP in Cincinnati, but they know turkeys can fly) must come up with a live Christmas Eve broadcast when an impending blizzard knocks out the electricity, leaving them with limited broadcast capabilities and only a backup generator for power. Fortunately a busload of choir members has taken refuge at the radio station. As a result, a non-believing disc jockey discovers faith in Jesus and the real meaning of Christmas during their live production.
